First First Grade Field Trip!

V-O-L-S! Go, Vols, Go!!

A wonderful teacher that I teach with offered Matthew and I their tickets to the LSU game since they were not going to use them. I was very excited because I had not been to a game in probably 10 years at least. It was a huge bonus when we realized the tickets were on the Terrace level! Backs on the seats, plenty of space, and right on the 50 yard line! The game wasn't much to watch, but we had great seats for the band!!

3rd Place!!

Evan won 3rd place in the Social Studies Fair with his model of an Egyptian tomb. He was super excited and we are very proud of him!!

Twas the night before Disney....

Ok, so I'm not a poet. But, yes, we just returned from Disney!!! I have soooo many pictures to share. We had an absolutely fabulous trip. I may have to do a highlight post before I actually get around to sharing the rest of the pictures. And in the meantime, we've been busy, busy, busy as usual and I'll have some posts soon of all of our fun activities.

Fall Ball

The Cubs are having another great season this fall and we are loving playing ball in the beautiful autumn sunshine! Evan has turned into a serious little ball player and really loves playing with all his little buddies.

The Mighty Spartans!

The Mighty Spartans continue to battle through a rough season. They are great sports and are learning alot about losing gracefully:) Evan is having fun with Carson, and I have actually seen a great improvement since the beginning of the season. This was a particularly exciting game because the opposing team was coached by Evan's baseball coach and 2 of the players were from his baseball team. The boys had a blast!
