We had a wonderful 2015 Swim Season! The kids had a blast as usual and both did well. Chloe may have found her stroke with the breaststroke and made steady progress in it, even earning a 3rd and 4th place ribbon in the event. Evan, on the other hand, cannot breaststroke to save his life, but has definitely found his niche with the freestyle both 25 and 50 and did really well in backstroke as well. He had an AWESOME season, which included:
9 First Place Ribbons
4 Second Place Ribbons
1 Third Place Ribbon
2 4th Place Ribbons
Top 10 Finishes in all 4 Events at Smoky Mountain Invitational out of several hundred swimmers.
Top 12 Finishes in 3 of 4 Events at GKAISA City Meet out of hundreds of swimmers.
3 Tellico Village Tarpons Team Records in 25 Free, Medley Relay, and Free Relay
He also won a medal for being the top point winner in his age group for the team.
We are so proud of Evan. He worked so hard all year last year, taking lessons and practicing 2 times a week for months, and he showed so much improvement. Way to go, Evan!
