8th Grade Night!

 It's hard to believe that Evan's days of North Middle School basketball are coming to an end. These will always be precious memories of precious times!

Chloe surprised us by deciding to try out for 5th Grade basketball, but she has had a great experience. She has a great team of girls and she is learning a lot.

 Chloe's 5th Grade basketball season was off with a bang!

My low white blood cell count kept me from going to the basketball banquet, but Evan looked sharp and had a great time.

Evan is still loving basketball and decided to play on an AAU team this spring for some extra practice.

He's a Baller!

Evan tried out and made the 6th Grade Basketball team! I have to admit I was a nervous wreck while he was waiting to find out. I now understand why my parents said they dreaded cheerleading tryouts every year (afraid I wouldn't make it). I'm super proud of him and happy for him. I'm a little disappointed because he is insisting that he does NOT want to swim this year. He wants to concentrate on basketball. I really hate to see him give that up, but I'm trying to make him make his own decisions.

Go Evan! I can't wait to watch you play!
