Chloe's Bedroom Surprise Make-over

So, when you send the kids to grandmother and granddaddy's for the weekend so that you can have a romantic "stay-cation" for your anniversary with plans to lay by the pool all weekend... and it rains... what do you do? Stop at Home Depot on the way home and fix-up Chloe's bedroom all weekend of course. The look on her face made it all worth it.

If the room looks familiar, it is because I made Matthew recreate her room from our old house. I loved it so much! We did add some new touches, though.

Evan's First Oral Surgery

Evan had to have some very minor oral surgery done today. He did great and was so brave! We had a slight meltdown in the car where he was basically screaming in pain, but as soon as I gave him his pain medication he was fine. As in, instantaneously fine, so I think it may have been a reaction to the gas or something. He's doing great though and even got mom to make meatloaf and mashed potatoes so he could have soft foods.

Pool's Open!

We returned to the beach to find our pool was finally ready to swim. So, what should we do? Jump in our pjs of course! Then you invite your cousins over. I see swimming in our plan daily this summer. So excited!
